In October, Chris and I, along with our friends Bobby, Ian and Layton headed to Washington D.C. for the National Equality March. It was one of those amazing trips that you have, which is made all that more special by the people you share it with.

The above picture was taken our first day in D.C. and we were strolling along the National mall (this was near the Washington Monument).

During 1999 - my first year in the United States - I did a lot of travel with Chris (as he moved around the country with his work). While many of the places would not be on the list for anyone to actually visit, there were definitely some gems found at the locations we ventured to.
